How Can I Recover Files On A 31/2 Floppy (A:) Disk? |
I tried to magnetism up some files I stored on a 31/2 floppy disk but they wouldn't come up. It just says on the bottom of the separate out "requesting virus scan" and then pop up message window says "chat failed reading from this file. please restore network connection or replace the floppy disk and retry".
I have no goal what's going on. Is there another way to pull my files up or recover them?
| Answer: It may be a complication with the virus scanner. 1. See if Word will open another file. 2. Try turning off the anti-virus program in your system tray on the bottome above-board hand of your screen next to the clock (right click on the anti-virus and pick out exit - be sure to restart it later).
