How Can I Recover Files On A 31/2 Floppy (A:) Disk?

I tried to magnetism up some files I stored on a 31/2 floppy disk but they wouldn't come up. It just says on the bottom of the separate out "requesting virus scan" and then pop up message window says "chat failed reading from this file. please restore network connection or replace the floppy disk and retry".
I have no goal what's going on. Is there another way to pull my files up or recover them?


Answer: It may be a complication with the virus scanner.

1. See if Word will open another file.

2. Try turning off the anti-virus program in your system tray on the bottome above-board hand of your screen next to the clock (right click on the anti-virus and pick out exit - be sure to restart it later). Try reinstalling your virus scanner. Try reinstalling Parley too.

How Can One Recover Files From The Trash After It's Been Dumped (os Is Mac 9.2)?

Someone (my pal, his wife, his children, the neighborhood kids) has dragged all his documents into the trash and dumped it. He's match Mac OS 9.2 on an old blueberry iMac. Needless to say, his backup strategy is inadequate, so this is courteous of important to him.

Answer: I don't use Macs but on Microsoft based PCs the enter is not "removed" from the hard drive it's just flagged as "deleted" so the OS will disparage over it eventually. Norton makes products that will read a hard drive sector by sector regardless of the "deleted" eminence. Digging through to find files may take a while because the storage is not always contiguous. At least on Microsoft OSs

Is There A Way To Recover Files From A Broken Version Of Windows Xp?

I was recently management on windows xp pro but my computer became infected with spyware and in the end, windows became corrupted and it couldn't be fixed. Well now, my computer has 2 OS's running on it, the broken unusable xp pro and xp home that im running now. Is there a way i can recover a few files from the old os? all my old files should still be there, i just cant access them through the corrupted windows. thanks.

Sandisk Cruzer Micro 2.0 GB USB Stuffed Up By A Friend... I Need A Way To Recover Files,?

Hello,
During grade i lent a friend my usb and when class finished he said that it corrupted... :( he said that he ejected it while he was transferring a walk. i didn't believe him until i came home and realised that he wasn't pulling a prank on me.
When i try to uncommitted this Sandisk Cruzer Micro usb 2.0 GB is says that "this drive is not yet formatted, would you like to size it now?"

Answer: try chink it on many different computers (library or something) maby one will be able to read it, otherwise format it and try to recover losses
