Can You Recover Data From A Raid Drive Hooked Up As A Slave Drive?

The energy drive crashed. The computer has been formatted. Is there a way to hook up the other drives as slave drives and recover the data? Is there anyway to go about recovering data from raid drives?
There were three penniless drives. Two of them are 250GB, and the third is a 320GB. Is there a way to access the two 250GB HDD's data somehow?

Answer: This subject doesn't really make sense. There is no "main" enterprise in a RAID array. It would be pretty much pointless if there was. What precisely do you mean?

How To Recover Data On A Raid 1 Hard Drive?

So on a hardbitten restart of my computer my hard drive crashed or something. the raid utillity on start up said that the setup was vigorous. Is there any way to recover my hard drive?

Answer: RAID 1 is habitually 2 fully redundant identical hard drives.

If one drive fails you see a report like "RAID Status: DEGRADED".

You remove the bad hard disk and interpose a new one and the machine automatically rebuilds the RAID by itself. Sometimes you can disconnect and reconnect the bad drive and it will salvage it if there is nothing in actuality physically wrong with it.

How Can I Recover Data From A LaCie LAC1236 Raid Array?

I have 4 x 1TB Western Digital intently drives from a LaCie LAC1236 External RAID Array. I need to recover the data from these hard drives. I do not have the first LaCie RAID box that the drives came from. I have tried a program called "RAID 2 RAID" without sensation. Please Help!

How To Recover Data From A RAID Configuration?

I have a dell meticulousness workstation with 3 hard drives in a RAID configuration. I just want to transfer the data to an exotic hard drive and reformat all of them. How can I change it to legacy mode to just take the data off?
I have a PERC 5/i Adapter
Also, the controller doesnt thoroughly recognize the configuration as a whole, it cannot reconize one of the disks

Answer: Depends on the raid configuration. In the end however that raid tool acts like a drive of the same size as the LUN the raid set provides.

You can copy it somewhere else (provided you have chamber), reformat the array, and put the data back (again presuming you have enough room).

RAID is not something magical, its just a way to lay data on multiple disks. Depending on how you lay it out you can have promote, reliability, and size.
