How To Recover Data From A HDD? |

I've a Vaio Tz, I'm jumpy I'm going to have to send it to be repaired. Windows vista doesn't load and I would like to differentiate if there a way the recover my files. I know in a Mac you can connect 2 computers via Firewire and use one as a hard drive. Is it feasible to do something like that?? Remember, Vista does not load!
Answer: I imagine you are talking about "target mode" on Mac notebooks but Windows machines don't have an commensurate.
If the drive is not seriously damaged and you can boot from your CD/DVD drive, you could try a repair tool like those from Symantec or Acronis to get it to boot.
If you well-deserved want to try and recover your data, take the drive out and use a USB to IDE/SATA adapter to access it through USB on another PC.

How Can I Recover Data On My HDD If It Crashes? |

My persistent disk has a single partition on it and when i tried to open that partition it said "Passing out is un-readable" or something like that.
| Answer: You can try to move at it external with an external enclosure and see if you can read some of the data then from another computer. If that does not work it probably will not be recoverable without shipping it out somewhere. |

How To Recover Data From My External HDD? |

Accidentally I deleted my visible HDD partition while loading the OS (but not formatted), immediately I recognized tht i am doing wrong and removed the HDD USB, after installing OS I connected my HDD but now i am not able to view the HD.
Can anybody help me to make the external Hard Drive Sharing out Healthy? or to recover the data?
Anybody Please Help me out, it's my 8 Years Data collection.

Answer: You dearth a disc editor. Do NOT install it on your external HDD. Recuva is a good one.

I HAVE A HDD THAT IS Scout's honour CORRUPTED DUE TO BAD SECTORS, CAN ANYBODY HELP ME IN RECOVERING IT'S DATA OR CAN U GIVE ME ANY SOFTWARE TO RECOVER ITS DATA.
Answer: run through checkdisk (chkdsk) on boot up or through the command provoke. have it fix or repair bad sectors.
if this doesn't work. you could look into recover software such as acronis, ez retaking, or winternals programs. |
