I had installed nod32 and scanned.after that my county drives changed to RAW system.drives are not visible in disk management also.i am not able to style also.
Answer: If the dig has been stuffed up somehow but hasn't been touched other than that, you may have some luck with TestDisk:

It will rewrite the parcelling out table, use it with caution though and only do it if you are confident in remembering what the partition table was on the drive. |

i copied data from another manufacture into my hard disk, after copying now i cannot access my patitions, it displays the message do u pauperism to format the partition? when i tried to convert it it displays the message conversion is not elbow for RAW Drives. One of my partition which is NTFS is not affected.
My os is Windows xp Professional
Answer: Your downloaded disc contains elements which are incompatable with your newly installed induce data. You will have to take the disc to a computer lab and have it "edited" by an experienced person who has the software to do such editing. Then you can reinstall your old software back onto your new condensed drive.

Answer: Numerous odd raw formats are currently in use and new raw formats keep being developed while others are orphaned. Because of the lack of a standard raw plan, specialized software is required to open raw files as compared to standardized formats like JPEG or Spat.
Adobe's Digital Negative (DNG) format has been put forward as a standard, but has not been adopted by every camera plc.

Hi
I bought the dark drive a couple of months ago and I was using it on my laptop [window 7] it was working satisfactory until last week, the format was NFTS.
I plugged it in like always and it showed up on my computer windows, which is standard like I usually do but then a message came up. I clicked on it to open and it said you have to variation the format which I haven’t had to do before as I just used it to copy my work for university. So I cancelled it.
Answer: You may have been hit by a virus or malware of some style that is stopping you from accessing the drive.
I have never heard of getting a message like you have described from validate sources. At this point you don't know if it is the computer or the hard drive that is at fault. Take it to a technician and describe absolutely what the problem is. |

I was gaily running Vista when my computer went to the blue screen of death (this one didn't sum). After a few weeks it started happening again every 2-3 days. It later stopped doing that. I have a 400GB WD Caviar SE16 SATA-3Gb/s ram with Vista installed that had this problem 3 years ago and a 500GB Drive with XP that has been fine, no problems. I am currently typing on my new 1TB WD Caviar Louring 6Gb/s drive (fantastic drive, by the way) and the OS sees the drive as "RAW". I have knowledge
Answer: Yeah, I reckon its possible. Before you jump to the expensive data recovery suites, please try Active Partition Revival http://www.partition-recovery.com/downlo ad.htm
Also try Partition Table Doctor (www.ptdd.com/). DO NOT size your other HDD, try these and let me know. If it doesnt work, you will probably have to go for expensive recovery solutions. |
