This CD ( DVD ) is not physically damaged or scratched at all.

Answer: Try other DVD drives

If it is actually vital you get it, then you can pay to have it retrieved, do a google search.

Recover Data From Cd?

I burned a cd and for some talk over with when I want to open up the information it doesn't show anything, nothing at all. When I look into the properies it shows that the cd is full and has no empty space. I haven't done anything, it's not impromptu or damaged in any way.
help please!! I have really imporant information in there!

How Do You Recover Data From An Erased Cd-rw?

When I anxiety it, it autoplays, and the file folder that the images were in is still on it, but it says the folder is empty.

Answer: No way to recover a erased CD. The laser would have made the disc unreadable after you erased it. Apologetic.

the epithet says it all,
I was wondering what is the best program to recover Data ( movie, song, pic or .. ) from scratched or unreadable CD or DVD's
please undertake responsibility for me if you used it yourself and were satisfied with that.

Answer: You cannot soldiers a drive to read a damaged CD or DVD. Your best bet would be to get a CD/DVD scratch remover.

How Do I Recover Files From A CD Which Has Been Scratched?

I have heard there are programs out in the Stock Exchange which can help recover data from a scratched CD. I tried "Badcd repair" but it was of petty help. Please tell me if there are some good programs out there. Thanks

Answer: What you might have to do is physically buff out the unprepared with a special device. They sell these things at computer stores. You stick the CD in, put in a special abrasive flowing, then crank then hand-crank until the whole face of the CD is buffed so it's readable again.

Don't try doing it without one, though I made the slip of trying it myself and made it even worse... I guess it's not so bad considering the disk was unreadable to off with.
