Answer: try getting a new floppy driver or mooch one from a friend sometimes its the drive. If its corrupted u might still have a change repair its sectors using a appeal. Search Google for "Floppy Disc repairs or Floppy repair software and Floppy recover software"
 
 

How Can I Recover Data In Various Formats On Old Floppy Disks?

Back in the 80's and 90's before I got my own computer I inured to computers where I worked to save personal data. There were a variety of machines and formats (Wordstar, GS2, original Windows, etc.). I recently came across the diskettes not long ago and I am curious as to what I found meriting enough to save all those years ago. Is there some program or some website that would be able to convert the data into a usable size or even just print out what's on the disks?

Answer: You honourable need access to a computer with a floppy disk drive. Your local computer shop may be able to steal... if they're 3 1/2" floppy disks. I imagine you'll have a much harder time verdict a drive to read the old 5 1/4" disks!

I Have Some Old 10 Hard Sector Doublesided Floppy Disks With Wordstar Data File On Them. How To Move To Hd?

The forcefully sector disks were used with a Northstar Horizon 1980-1995. I would like to recover the Wordstar chat processing data files. I have a working Northstar Dimension that can read the disks, but I can't enumerate out how to output them to a current computer.

Answer: yes u could email, network .. or quite slave the old harddrive into the other machine ..

How Do You Recover Lost Data From Installing Solaris 10?

My habit-forming disk won't boot from WIndows XP Service Pack 1 anymore. I don't know if my impenetrable drive has been reformatted or repartitioned. My DOS backup floppy disk can't find my C hard disk enterprise.

Answer: it's conceivable you may have accidentally wiped out your windows partition when you created the disk slices for solaris (a unexceptional mistake). to avoid losing any possible chance of recoverying lost data, you should take that disk and instate it into another working winxp box & try to mount it in windows as a secondary disk. see if your windows squeeze is still there. if so, save it and then just start over. if windows asks to format it, *say no*. if you are unable to see any of your old

Recover Data From Hard Drive?

My newer Compaq PC died but I am told the definite drive is still good. I have an older PC and I am wondering if there is a way to put the hard drive into that older PC to regain the data such as pictures, documents, etc. The older PC has a 3 1/2" floppy and one cd rom drive. Can someone walk me through the steps if it is achievable?

Answer: use linux knoppix white-hot cd it works just put that cd into your cd drive then make your cd rom as the 1st in boot sequence
