How Do I Recover My Lost Data From My Hard Disk Which Lost Due To A Power Failure? |

i was working on my PC as well-known, suddenly the power went out but when started my computer later, it wasn't working. the windows might have been corrupted so i re-installed the windows but then i found that all my data from the unkind disk had been vanished.... how do i recover it? please tell me because i have a lot of important data on my PC. please help. my PC contain all types of files ranging from documents to music files. please support???
Answer: If you reformatted your drive before reinstalling Windows, then a lot of it's in all probability gone for good, seeing as you overwrote lots of files.
If you just did an "update," dig the instructions in the above post.
To recover what isn't gone, run Recuva. http://www.recuva.com/
