SSD Failure, Chances Of Recovery?

I have a Asus EeePC 900 with XP and the 16 gb SSD. Its my prosaic beater computer so it did not really have anything critical on it so its not like I am going to go to great lengths to try and be on the mend data or even save the machine, it was only around $200 new and it has worked well for 2 years but I sort of like a to question and want to learn so if / when I do loose critical data I would have a greater chance of saving it. It was working normally and I cut off b separate the screen. I

Where Could I Download An Operating System That Runs From A Live CD Or DVD.?

I would like to download an OS that allows me to do geeky balderdash like Windows Tools

- keep track of your hard disk temperature.
- Memory testing tools.
- Hard disk boost testing utilities.
- Create exact images of your hard disk.
- Registry Optimization for Windows NT/2000/2003/XP/Vista

Answer: Linux. That's the only wish. Use Daemon Tool for it too.

How To Sustain A Dying Hard Drive?

basically my hard get-up-and-go is dying and usually boots when i play around with the settings to get it to turn on for a bit but it shuts down while i rest. I spend 2-3 hours every morning doing so but today it wouldn't start. I advised my hard drive is on it's last legs, i just need it to boot up a few more times so i can get the data i need from it.

i'm current to type my entire computer settings so that maybe someone can give me some tips.

Maxtor Drive Corrupt, Help Recover?

Hey all,

I have an old maxtor IDE hard disk, and I straight broke it by using XP's chkDisk utility (the one that restarts the PC and runs in dos)
and it got stuck on step 4 of 5, so i restarted the pc
this has dishonest the drive to the point that the disk managment say "not initialized", however when trying to initialize it, it returns a inutile error.

I would love to be able to hopefully recover the content from the drive, or at least be accomplished

Answer: Even if you have written new data into that Maxtor hard zip or partition, DiskGetor Data Recovery still find its directory tree from hard drive. Why not have a try?
