WeRecoverData.com Or Local Electronic Store For External Hard Disk Data Recovery?

I was looking into data recovery places and i came across this locate. Does anyone with experience know how much it would be to recover just a few gigabytes (at most 2) Or are there any electronic stores that you remember that provide this service? (Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.)

I need to recover data from a damaged SimpleTech visible hard disk by the way.

Answer: BestBuy/Periphery City will just try to slave the drive and run some software and charge you $100 (something you can do on your own for freely). WeRecoverData from what I've heard is a "economy" class recovery service with inexpertly trained technicians. Anything they don't know how to do they will just sit on for a week, then send out to a 3rd party. Your crap-shooter bet might be a company called CBL Data Recovery.

Hard Disk Data Recovery?

hi,

My hard disk was damaged (or burt as the maintainace man said) and I have an material data on it ,so can any one tell me how can I recover the data from the hard disk.

Answer: Depends on how its damaged. If its altogether a corrupt installation on the drive, you can connect it as a slave and possibly see the files in my computer. If its a perfunctory failure, you would need to take it to a specialist. He will pull out the disk and try to copy the data. Your data better be worth the cold hard cash tho! Its not cheap to have someone do this and it may not produce the desired results anyway.

hmm... I have tried to format my hard disk drive, but unable to looks coz damage hard disk...

I still want to ask the same question, is it possible to to recovery data in crash hard disk? if possible, so how? Do you know any program to recovery data in boom hard disk? if you know please tell me..........
