MY CD has got a big crack and now im not superior to get the data out of it :(

if u think ur cds in gone completly then only try this
1 take a standrad tooth paste <not the gell variety >
2 take a bit of paste and distribute it over whole surface <reflecting one >
3 take a bit of news papers and slide the deed from from inner to outer side
4adjust the cracked protion correctly <may u can apply more paste on the cracked range and reapet step 1 2 3 4>

Light-hearted Xmas! I have a valuable information on a DVD that is cracked, I tried copying it to the HD, and 15% into the manipulate, it will request that I insert the source disk. I wiped the DVD and start the process again, only to give entr the same information again at the same point. SOS pls.
| Answer: Take it to the FBI and have them get it off for you....haha JK i don't over recall there is no way. |

Answer: Depressing mate but freeware software reclamation is really dodgy at best of times and once in a blue moon works, your best bet is to spend some money and goto a data recovery specialist, look in the yellow pages. Not that much to be above-board, only about £50 here in england. But thats the only real way you will get it bak.

Can I Be Prosecuted For Pirated Data By PC World Etc? |

My Tangled Drive's USB port, the only way of accessing my data by, is kaput. Placing a USB in it and connecting it to a computer respectively will not aside access as the hardware is not detected. I'm quite confident that it would be a simple fix to allow access once again, but consequently the drive is loaded with films and a couple of games that I've obtained via file-sharing.

Answer: The 'mechanical' staff at PC World know nothing. I know, I used to work there.
They'll try to charge you a lot of the ready for data recovery (at least £800) and they'll send it off to an external company for recovery.

After A Spill, Computer Won't Load Past BIOS? |

Hey all,
I have a veritably old secondary computer that I basically just use for email and word processing. It's an IBM T22. A few days ago I spilled a not any beer on the keyboard. I immediately shut it off, turned it upside down, took a few drives/battery out, etc. When it dried out and I turned it on, all I saw was the ladylike "IBM Thinkpad" BIOS screen (with those F1/F12 options). It won't load windows (98SE) previous that point.
