Can Someone Suggest How To Perform USB Data Recovery?

I use my Apple iPod Shuffling as a memory stick. It was working fine yesterday. Today, it asks to be formatted. Last attitude that I did systems-wise was Windows Update, Java update and a couple of reboots while the defend was plugged in.

Below is what Disk investigator shows. Maybe hidden sectors is a imply that the data is still there.

My USB Flicker Drive has suddenly stopped working. I have VERY IMPORTANT work data on it that I need for tonight! I requirement recovery software or instructions on how to repair any hardware issues or if its possible, to remove the data module and fix it in a new USB flicker drive!??.... Please help! Or even if I could get at the data using Hex-Code or something. Please help!!
