i forgot to swivel off the system restore on drive e: while restoring windows xp which is on c: (, and there's another one on d: as well )..but now the system restore can't undo the change neither can it restore to any other incidental ,may be coz i used shut down during restore as it was taking a lot of time and thus the restore was not complete(wonder if it would have ever been) a few recent files on the e: were demolished ,now is there a way to recover them ,or the only way is to use data recovery
