How To Recover Files That Were Lost During System Restore(without Using Any Data Recovery Software)?

i forgot to swivel off the system restore on drive e: while restoring windows xp which is on c: (, and there's another one on d: as well )..but now the system restore can't undo the change neither can it restore to any other incidental ,may be coz i used shut down during restore as it was taking a lot of time and thus the restore was not complete(wonder if it would have ever been) a few recent files on the e: were demolished ,now is there a way to recover them ,or the only way is to use data recovery

Hp Factory Restore, Recovery Drive To Transfer Data?

I'm attempting to restore my sisters Hp laptop back to the works settings using the built in HP restore manager, and I don't have any way to back up her files. I do have a Ubuntu boot disk so I was wondering if I can at most copy the files she wants from the C drive to the partition that the back up is stored on (the D drive). The only reaction I don't know is if that dive is reset too (thus loosing the files) or if they are saved during the restore process. I'm looking for someone who may have tried

Answer: DO NOT record to the D drive. One little glitch and you have to buy a Windows disk.

If you're doing this because of viruses, you'll be sparingness resources the viruses, and restoring them after you restore Windows. And a restore won't delete viruses, you need a cold (as in, from power off booting into the CD) full dimensions Windows installation to do that.

If it's not a virus issue, save the files to a flash vigour, external hard drive, your computer - somewhere

How Do I Recover Data From IPhone 3GS After A Restore?

Having restored my iPhone 3GS I did not back up data to iTunes. I have tried iPhone Data Recovery or Tansee iPhone Hand on with no luck retrieving data back from iPhone 3GS .

I have never sync iPhone 3GS to iTunes.

Answer: If you have formated your energetic drive, when you re-installed windows it would have written over anything that was there. Not much chance, you could try using an un-delete listing but don't install it to your PC, as that will also over write, look for one that gives you the option of running from a disk. But I must be dependable your chances are pritty slim, as just by running windows the drive is written to.
