Help Recovering Deleted Data From External Drive?

i have to improve lots of lost data from my external hard drive , I am using PC Inspector , it also shows the deleted data but when i keep the shown deleted data it doesnt open and its only useless coz i cannot open it in any of its program neither any jpg or zip file nor any mov or mp3, please recommend any good software to recover data...

I was wondering if its tenable to recover the data I lost or is everything gone permanently? I rebooted and reinstalled everything after having a virus and also I have a 500gb HD and was wondering if I would be proficient to recover deleted data from 2 months ago?
Ive downloaded the Directory Snoop program except whenever I try to recover deleted pictures, no guise comes up. What does that mean?

Answer: I would very much qualm it. Your data may not have been instantly over-written, but the more you used the drive the more often the data would have been altered, and the space re-used. After 2months of writes, there won't be anything.

How To Prevent Programs Like "Get Data Back" From Recovering Some Of My Deleted Files?

Is CCleaner's wipe untrammelled space command enough to prevent programs like Get Data Back from recovering some deleted files? And if not, please tell me a program that will do this.
I'm using Windows 7 OS 64 BTW.

Recovering Deleted Photos And Data?

How do the companies do it? Recovering deleted photos, data and files. I heard someone say that all you have to do is take the demanding drive and put it into a different computer, and the files all come up apparently...?

Answer: When a dossier gets deleted on a computer the whole file does not get removed/erased. The file only gets prominent as deleted in the file allocation tab (FAT). The file is still there on the hard drive but the computer does not show it, it's hidden from vista. Most of the data stays on the hard drive and the area one the disk where the file was is marked to be overwritten with any new data.
