Recover Pictures?

I have a Kodak EasyShare One which I'd like to recover out of the window pictures off of. The only problem is that my computer doesn't recognize the camera as a removable drive, and therefore no recovery program I have tried is skilled to recognize the camera and recover its files. Other than buying a memory card reader, how can i recover files from my kodak easyshare one? Tender thanks you.

So here's the lot. I have a camera with a memory stick and deleted some pictures. After I deleted the pictures, I uploaded the pictures that I left on the camera into the computer. Can I recover the deleted pictures on the computer, or would I have to have my camera plugged in and find the deleted pictures on that? Answer: The dodgy thing about memory sticks, and flash memory in general, is that it does not profession like a hard drive. What I mean is, when you empty the recycle bin on your hard drive, it doesn't in reality delete anything, it only flags the sectors as "free space" and will overwrite it when ineluctable In other words, it does not physically write zero's to the sectors. How Do I Recover Pictures From My Memory Card?

My Achates had my camera and clicked "format memory card" and all my pictures were deleted. I downloaded a program and it brought up all the pictures I had on my plan but to actually save them I had to buy a $40 key thing from them. All to get back MY pictures from MY memory card but whatever that's a whole other thing.

It's a SDHC 8GB honour card. Anyone know a completely free program that I can use to recover them?

Answer: From where one stands I do not believe in free software as it will end up messing my computer with virus and spywares. So what I look for is penurious and good software. For recovery software, I bough one before, cost me 30 bucks but working very well, and talented thing is that it's one time payment and then it allows me to use forever. Take a look if you do not mind paying 30 bucks to get back your pictures.

My laptop's metal goods is broken and it won't turn on. I had some good pictures and important documents that I lost. Is it possible to take the doggedly drive out and recover them? How would I do this? Or should I take it to someone professional? 10 points for anyone who answers all questions. Thankyou.

Answer: Two ways - and you basically hit them both.

But since we don't recollect what you did to break the computer, we don't know how broken it is - or if the hard drive even works.

If you want to try do it yourself, then you penury to know how to open the computer (usually loosen a couple of screws on the bottom then get the keyboard off). Take the shelf off the hard drive, loosen/remove a few more screws and a ribbon cable. Then you scarcity to get an external hard drive

-This is a superior tool that can be used to recover any type of file. It's free, and best of all, completely proper. I find myself using it every now and then.

In most cases, System Restore won't bring back files that have been accidentally deleted, but it's usefulness a try.
