Is It Possible To Recover An Erased File In My Computer?

hi.. i would like to ask if it is achievable to recover a file (especially with big sizes-- 50mb or more) even if it has been deleted in the recycling bin weeks/months ago.. how can i do it? its indeed important. thanks..
-- im using windows xp, pentium 4..

Answer: I have reach-me-down a program called "Search and Recover 3 in the past and it recovered pretty much everything that had ever been on the HDD. It works entertaining but it's pretty slow.

I prurcased a used HDD before and it recovered everything on it.........the seller formated the drive and I still got everything on the tool along....it was kinda funny.

Also IOLO technologies software has a new Search and Recover 4 out now but I haven't in use accustomed to it.

Answer: you can't it was overwritten 35 times with indiscriminate 1's and 0's

I have recently restored my computer to plant fresh but I forgot to save my pictures from my vacation. They are nowhere to be found. Is there some kind of way to retrieve them?

I somehow managed to efface all the emails in my inbox before I went throught them. There was like, 450 emails that I erased! They are not in my Hogwash file...is there any way to recover them?
