How To Recover Deleted File From Memory Stick?

On the honour stick, there was a word document that was deleted somehow. It was in a folder with one other file. The total size of the folder is 63kb, but the file still in there only takes up around 30kb of recollection. The file that was deleted is not hidden and cannot be seen. However, if it is deleted why is it still taking up space. Is there any way to recover it?

Answer: When you efface a file, Windows only marks the file as deleted, but doesn't actually remove it from your system. Those files are only truly deleted (well, replaced absolutely) when other data is saved to the same location on your hard drive.

So as long as you haven't saved any new files to that recollection stick, then your word doc is still sitting there waiting to be recovered.

Answer: You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, it all depends on what has happened since the files were deleted.
When you efface files the data itself isn’t deleted, just the index entry that tells the system where the data for those files is located. The close containing the deleted data is also now marked as free space so it is available for any new files to be written there in place of.

Answer: You can very often recover deleted files from a phone or camera recollection card or USB Memory stick. However, to increase the chances of being able to recover files after they have been deleted you must not put by any new files, files or data to it.

When you delete files (or any files) from a memory credit card or USB memory device the data itself isn’t deleted, just the file system pointers that says where the data for those files is located. The section where the deleted picture
