How Do You Differentiate A Raw Data Set In Matlab Without Having To Use A Spline?

Does anyone identify how to differentiate a data set in Matlab? In other words, if you are given a set of x-values with their corresponding y-values how can you modify this data set?

I don't mean running a spline through the data then differentiating the spline. I'm trying to find out how to differentiate a raw data set. Any usurp would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: You cant transmute a raw data set, its mathematically impossible. You have to fit a curve to the data or use a tangent approximation. For example, put a loop in the encypher that will find the secant line between point i and i+2, then use this as the approximation of the tangent (aka derivative) at at applicability i+1. Repeat this for the entire data set. The more data points you have, the more accurate this will be, of course.

When Processing Raw Data In A Prac Report, How Do You Process Biological Drawings?

I have to indite up a biology practical report in which we observed plant cells under a light microscope. I poised the raw data in that I observed and drew what I saw through the microscope, but now I need to process it, and I have no idea how. Anyone have any suggestions?

Answer: i would offer using your drawings as this data was observed and interpreted by you.

Where Does The Raw Data On Private Company Revenues Come From?

Yahoo Assets, Hoover's, etc have revenue information for some private companies. Where does the raw data come from? How do they identify what the revenue is for private companies?

Answer: I have no perception but usually they purchased/ subscribe with other news network, like Bloomberg, Forbes, SmartMoney, ...

These expansive business news network have tons of researchers compiling data,
i) (estimate) from suppliers, competitors and other sources
ii) recognizance disclosure by the companies
iii) tax filing with IRS
iv) filing with SEC (mandatory for some case(s))

Where Do I Find Biomedical Raw Data From The Cauchy/Lorentz Distribution?

I am currently looking for some raw data from the Cauchy/Lorentz arrangement. Does anyone know where I could find some?

Answer: Lots of things have distributions of those ballpark shapes, i.e. enzyme kinetics, probabilities of vesicle release at synapses, the announce-synaptic action potentials, the distributions of phenotypic characters like zenith, etc. I don't know for sure that these have been mathematically proven to be those types of distributions though.

The second relationship seems to refer to DNA annealing models as having Cauchy/Lorentz distributions. Perhaps you can find some true raw data in

To The Proponents Of Global Warming, When Is It Acceptable To Change Raw Data To Support Global Warming?

What criteria do you use to make up one's mind what changes in raw data are considered acceptable?

Why should we be using corrupted data?

Why is it ok to keep the raw data that proves AGW private?

And what in the good old days b simultaneously frames are acceptable (I.E. 10 years, 20 years) when showing correlations of position in global temperatures?

Answer: The criteria is that if you can difference it without the UN calling your bluff, than it's perfectly fine. You can also change the data if it'll show a heating trend, but if it'll say otherwise, than you should forbear the data the way it is(i.e. temperature satellites sinking & heating up, increasing the temperature, showing a bent, and the readings should be lowered. However, alarmists don't change it).

We should use corrupt data because without it, AGW has little to no scientific
