Hardware Raid Data Recovery Problem!? |
I have on my server 2 x 1000GB Seagate despotic drives connected to a raid controller, which means both have the same data. One day they both stopped working. both have the same damage.
I basic to recover the data is very important! I usually use a data recovery program but in this case is difficult because i'm not able to c the drives, I can only c them on Scheme manager for less than 5 minutes.
Please i need a solution.
Thanks
| Answer: Hi so it did-not happen to you to buy a third and forth drives for when one drive failed then. raid systems usually use a hot swap clever drives for redundancy. the case of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing didn't grow to mind then. Copying the contents of those drives should have been paramount to a systems manager. if employed by a presence dismissal would be immediate. so sadly you have lost something it could just be the power supply...if |
It's all about IT today at retouching towers, mostly recovering a failed RAID system. MiniTool Power Data Recovery software saves the day.

If you've got a assortment of data lying around on old hard drives, and want to make sure that nobody gets their hands on it, you could try reformatting the drives, but there's always a unforeseen that a data recovery service could pull the data off.
