Data Recovery Help?Hard Drive Problem?

Hi all of you,
i have 4 urgency in my Computer, i am using windows xp sp2,Today when i start my PC,one of my drive is Damaged
when i Right click on the force and look the properties the Drive Status shows "RAW" in lieu of of "NTFS"
and used space,Free Space and Capacity shows 0 bytes
What is the ungovernable with this drive?
All other drives are working properly
i am very sad because there are huge collection of videos,audios,Pictures,Documents

My USB energetically drive is corrupt and unreadable.
Check disk won't work
Paragon software has identified it has having corss linked files and delineated an I/O error

Other recovery software such as Pandora has identified the drive as a Fat16 drive but it should be NTFS

I have already used a utility to rebuild the Chieftain Boot Table

The hard drive still works mechanically as the used and free space can be identified within Ideal Disk

Answer: Don't do anything to the determination, certainly don't format it.

and run it on your USB drive. It may not be accomplished to recover all your files but it will find most.

Can I Install Windows 2000 Over WIndows XP?

I Have an Old PC (2001) It Currently Has XP Media Center on it. (eat one's heart out story short: Crashed HDD, Friend let me borrow MCE\Dell Recovery!) MCE Takes up too much video celebration for my nVidia TNT 2 m64. I used to play a good amount of games with it but i cant lately due to the drive.

I Want to install Win2k on my hard drive, without Losing my Data? Is that Possible?

Specs:
80gb HDD (NTFS) , about 30-40GB Free.

Answer: No. You Must reformat your system in masterly to do that since you are downgrade. If this was an upgrade from Windows2K to Windows XP, That would been possible.

Drive Becomes Unallocated? Partition Table Or MFT Corrupted?

Hi folks,

My Acer had C: and D: drives of about 70GB each (out of a 160GB carnal disk with some of the rest going to the recovery hidden partition), both NTFS.

The C: drive is the OS (Windows Vista) vim and I used the "Shrink Volume" to free up 35GB of it which I then created 2 new volumes of 10GB and 25GB partitions. Note that I didn't stroke my D: drive at all.

After the shrinking of c:, I had 35GB of C:, 2 volumes with unassigned drive letters,

Answer: Your allocation is touched on some part of the indisputable disk Master File table. if you can run CHKSDSK /f command through the DOS environment, you might just be convenient that the MFT will be repaired.

But if you can't get to that level, try repairing your windows and if possible reverse what changes you have done.

Help With BSOD Please!?

After becoming infected with the Smitfraud virus among others possibly all at once, I ran Super AntiSpyware, which required a reboot. What followed was the dreaded Blue Qualify of Death. I cannot start in any mode. I have attempted (unsuccessfully) to repair the installation and still get the fateful stop error. Fortunately I have the original installation XP home edition cd, but cannot boot from it. I changed the boot succession but to no avail. I REALLY don't want to have to reinstall all apps
