Hard Drive Data Recovery?

My hard drive outwardly is broken for some reason, when I turn on my computer, the "black screen of death" came up and does not pile my window. I want to look for a quality and cheap company that can help me recovery data from the hard drive.

Answer: Why don't you sack it and hook it to other computer as slave then copy what you want to cd or dvd.data recovery is very expensive.

I own a Dell inspiron 6500 laptop, and active in London if anyone knows of someone they would recommend.
I've already taken it to someone who said the whole hard drive needs to be restacked in a lab - so gloomily, don't think I can do that myself!

Physically Damaged Hard Drive Data Recovery Help?

My Mechanical Hard Drive suffered a major fall and refuses to work now. It currently makes an unpleasant grinding sound whenever i turn it on, (so i leave it off now). Anyone know if there is the slightest chance that any intelligence that I had on the drive can be recovered somehow?

(It was on at the time of the fall)

Good Company For Hard-drive Data Recovery?

My computer's hard-drive crashed and according to a adjoining repair company it won't even "spin-up". Has anyone had any experience with sending their drive to a 'data recovery' South African private limited company? Which one? Were you satisfied and how much did it cost?

Physically Broken Hard Drive... Data Recovery Companies?

Basically, my fellow-man dropped his hard drive while it was in operation. It's now physically broken - when he turns it on, it makes clicking and bleeping noises, and his computer no longer recognises the drive.

I recognize this drive is beyond the realms of data recovery software, since the disk isn't actually working any more. But I know the data is still physically electromagnetically still on the disk... So my in doubt is: Are there any data recovery companies which I could send

Answer: Ha! Yeah that will indoctrinate him...By the sounds of it, It is F*cked as it is damaged structurally and it may have damaged the data anyway and if any such company would do it then it would probably payment you a fortune...But i seriously doubt you can get that done..
