Why Did My Files Disappear After Rebooting The First Time After Installing Windows Vista? |
Question by Travis C | Posted in Software
After installing Windows Vista, I rebooted my computer after unstationary my files to the computer. As soon as my desktop appeared, my files showed up for one second, then they instantly disappeared. The folders that some of the files were in are hook empty except for an email file, but the folder skeleton was still intact for some reason. I recovered some of the files using a free data recovery tool, Undelete Additional. Please tell me what happened!
| Answer: Sounds like a lucky...I've installed vista on machines that had been running everything from XP home to Server 2003. Migrated all the files and never had a refractory. Don't listen to what ppl say, vista is not a bad os. |
