Answer: quite because 95% of the 'free' data recovery software only allow you to view deleted files, not recover them - for that you insufficiency to buy the full software.

i have found multiple programs such as F-recovery or Data Doctor recovery which have found my files on my xd show-card but require me to pay for the actual recovery. can i either have a serial key for these programs or a suggestion as to what programs would do this for free?

Question For Experienced AVG & Spyware Doctor Users ?

On my Dell Dimension 5150 (not this utensil, my Sony Vaio RS-123) - I believe I have virus as well as ad/malware infections.

I've been uninstalling a lot of programs, some which I hardly ever use and some which I sometimes use - just to free up disk space and make the scan's run faster (less folders and files to investigate).

I already posted a question related to this issue, I asked about the 'iexplorer.exe' process that automatically re-starts itself in reprehend

Help: I Am Experiencing Frequent Scan Disks After XP Boot Screen.?

I dunno what happened to my system. Every things i turn on my system. It starts scan disks on my hdd. I know that I've turned off my PC properly. Moreover, my part is connected on a UPS. Why is that? The ScanDisk shows lots of index entry deletion. I am apologetic that it might corrupt my files. Help, what should i do? ScanDisk also reports that my HD drive has 4kb bad sector(is this value big enough?). To imagine things worst, i have 3 hdd's installed in my system:
40GB IDE (where my OS(XP)
