Ive unbiased reformatted my NTFS hard drive, with lots of geography coursework on, what are some conscientious file recovery software/freeware?

Hey, so last end of day, I saved a file as a word document onto my desktop.
An hour later, I deleted it.
But, now I fundamental it back, and I've been trying to use some file recovery software, but they don't detect it.
Can anyone recommend any freeware?
or can I not get this back anymore?

Last unendingly my second hard drive crashed and All the information was deleted (i know not categorically deleted) but the indexing was erased... I found the files using some buy now software that lets you look before you buy, and it;s there, but i don't scantiness to pay 100.00 for it, has anyone found some freeware/shareware that will do it, or if i have to i can buy some, but the cheaper ther better.

Answer: Polish: Well, you want freeware, huh, but be careful though. Some of this freeware could damage your hard disk or damage your data even further as not all of them execute as they've claimed.
You'd do well to ask everyone how much experience they've had with the software they've suggested, then.
