Do File Recovery Programs Actually Work?

I have somehow deleted some of my home base video files, and they are completely gone - I need to get them back as they mean the world to me.
I extremity to know - do file recovery programs actually work?

Answer: yes it works i got my 95% to-do back on hard disk but it works only if u scan as soon as your data deleted because if another statistics was written on that space than it is impossible to back up the delete data
so download a file recovery program and leaf through as soon as possible

Answer: Recuva is my favorite file recovery software. It is made by the same concern that makes CCleaner, which is an awesome file cleaner.

Recuva will be able to recover most documents, pics, vids, other files, etc.
Most successfully of all its free!

Photo/file Recovery Programs That Will Get The Job Done? How About Recuva? Thanks In Advance!?

I employed to have a lot of photos on my computer that I deleted overtime. Now I want them back badly. Will recuva recover my photos from months ago? Is there a recovery program that will regain one's strength photo files from a year+ ago that I can preview the file before recovering it? (I had also had lots of files I do not hankering recovered. I just want my jpg digital camera photos that I took back, without using the honour card) Thanks in advance.

Answer: i theorize how such a smart pc user like you can delete photos accidentally, i also keep photos in dogged drive but i always keep backup cd-roms ,however your deleted phots's can be recovered with "Melody up system utilities 2007"(30-days-trial) (u have mentioned "recuva", the popular so i mentioned another one) if you haven't used disk cleaners (windows disk cleaner or ccleaner or any disk cleaner or resistry cleaner utility within your "a year+ago") and not reformatted

What Is A Good Program For File Recovery?

I have a few vital files that i wanna recover and i've heard theirs file recovery programs.. would anyone know about really right ones that actually work?

Answer: there are a lot of recovery software out there. yes they do pull through some files, some of them recover most of the files but they all have one con: at least 50% of the recovered files will be corrupted and you won't be masterly to do anything with them....unfortunately

Answer: Is Recuva any reliable? Yes. I ran my own test by first installing Recuva on my computer. Then I downloaded 100 photos that I didn't unsure losing and created 25 different document files. I sent everything to the recycle bin and then emptied the recycle bin. I in a minute used Recuva and got back everything. However, it's important to understand how data is stored on a hard make and how recovery software works.
