Can you determine me how to rename a file using racovery console?
example: I want to rename a file name "abc.dll11" to "abc.dll". how can i pattern to rename it. help me pleaesss.........

Answer: I assume the command is called "ren" (or "rename"):

>ren abc.dll11 abc.dll

I recently helpless some video footage that I need for coursework and some was for my band, any way i tried several data recovery pro grammes that claimed to be accomplished to recover video files, which they did, however these recovered files will not play or work with any SOFTWARE i have installed, the software Irritable Time supports .MOV files but when i open up these it says it is not a file that Quick Time understands. Is there a way to get these to employment or is anyone aware of and data

Answer: Uhh why don't you penury to use a recovery program? http://www.recuva.com is free and works very well. Other than that try your recycle bin? Without some sort of utility to study the HD sectors there really isn't a plausible way to do it.

what to do when in carefree recovery pro. it says when i tried to backup a hard-d through a usb ide converter (sata)that it could'nt backup some files because of on literal what does it mean (maybe a virous on that file?)and i know it's not a problem with my hard-d because i was gifted to backup other stuff (maybe i shoul'd scan for virouses or somthing ?)WHAT SHOUL'D I DO????????????????????????
