If I Have A Computer Virus, Should I Do A Recovery With Automatic Data Backup? |

I'm on another computer, but my widespread computer has a virus! HELP! Would it be wise to do a recovery with automatic data backup if i have a virus or dull cause recovery, or does it matter at all?
This may seem like a dumb question, and i have no computer knowledge ;/

Doing a full factory recovery, you will lost everything you have on your computer it will be back to the way it was when you first manufacture it on. But any infection will be gone. I have a hp 510 notebook that I would poverty to know the answers for. If for some reason I had to recover my computer in case of an attack, and now mostly backup and recovery are already installed in the cpu, well like when you start up the computer it would say force F11 if its an emergency. If I had to do it, and the whole computer formated, after the formation of the computer, will it still be there or is it just a one time using thing?
