Data Recovery From Hard Disk?

My laptop's hard disk not responding & seems like crashed. Is there any way to retrieve data from it.

Answer: Sometimes. Depending on what the dilemma is you may be able to get your data off of it. One option is try to boot your computer from a linux disk. Knoppix is a popular choice. Data Recovery From Hard Disk .. Dropped My Laptop On The Floor .. Help Please?

I am in concern oneself. I dropped my laptop on the floor and now it won't start. I had my college notes in it which I had been working on for 8 months. I was a frolic to not have a backup for all those files. now I am in real trouble. I had stayed up all night for months working on the notes and now I regard as I have lost it all. when I tried starting the laptop it said 'insert hard disk' . so the hard disk has moved from it's appropriate, that's okay but do you think the hard disk has been damaged

Answer: It could be that your hard aggressiveness has simply come loose.
1. Read the owners manual on how to remove/substitute the hard drive.
2. Turn the computer off and unplug everything!
3. DON'T REMOVE the hard drive, but PUSH ON IT to make firm that it's plugged in securely. There is a plug on the back of the hard drive that plugs into the motherboard.
4. Replace the screws so that the hard suggest is nice and snug.
5. Turn on the computer and see if it works. If

i am selling my laptop, and i don't be deficient in any person recover its files. is there any way? because these days i heard that there are such tools that can recover data of years and years old??

Data Recovery For Hard Disk And SSD&#39;s. Help!?

Does the data recovery faculty Consistency checking and Data Carving are equally valid for both HDD and SDD or they are simply for HDD only. These two process is personal property in which media?

Answer: They are both separated of the storage media since these techniques are not about attempting to read data that was formerly unreadable, but making do with the data you have already announce and trying to interpret it. The physical medium is an irrelevance.
