I Accidentally Did A Partial System Recovery (saving Data Files) And Now Cannot Access Old Pics :(? |
Superficially I aquired many viruses, one of which made my system prompt for a restore (over and over). I did this maybe 3 times over the course of a day and the next dated the prompting message came up, either it asked for OR I somehow managed to do a system RECOVERY versus RESTORE, where all of my old drivers and other things were wiped out. Luckily, I still had all of my music files and some pics that I saved on the C:/ folder (rather than in a documents folder) and some other several stuff.
| Answer: I have an aversion to viruses!! damn those ppl who make them. and yes it is pretty lengthy to read this!! lol anyways to your trouble...... if u cant get to your files through normal access, i would suggest getting recovery file programs. These program searches the drives for files and will give u a tabulation for u to transfer to a different location such as to a thumb drive or external hard steer. if u ever get out of this impossible dilemma, i would suggest upgrading your computer. get |
