Can Forensics Find Stuff In The Hard Drive That A Data Recovery Expert Can't?

this is serious so please only people who discern this answer should answer. i had given my hard-drive to a data recovery expert because i had once found a video of child smut in my computer and wanted to know if there was more before making decisions to contact the police. the data recovery expert did not find the video i had seen but as contrasted with another disturbing child pornography video. i immediately took my hard imply to the police and they have given it to forensics to analyze it.

Answer: I don't understand what the qualifications of the "expert" you took it to are.

But if the police there are anything like they are in the States they will definitely be able to find everything that is on there. Even if the video is no longer present, there is still the other one the expert found.

Our computer guys have recovered files and videos that have been deleted, and found things on reformatted drives. If it's there, they'll find it.

Calling All Data Recovery Experts, Replacing Circuit Board On A Hard Drive Do I Need Hermetically Sealed Room?

Having called Seagate I was told I could not hold a circuit board, so if need be I will just use an identical drive (which I have) but would prefer not to, so if I can do this myself how do I get one, I cannot see why I would logically penury a hermetic seal, the board is clearly visible, and particulates would potentially be qualified to both get around it and a select few, through it, so if I do, please explain why.

Answer: As the above notice said, a clean room isn't required for PCB swaps. A clean room is only needed when you're working with the disk internals. Keep in undecided though that a PCB swap isn't a magical fix; it won't always fix the drive. Some boards also require you swap the CPU and/or ROM between boards and swapping the unalloyed board won't help.

I Need A Data Recovery Process Done On My Computer?

I have a laptop. I can't access my pragmatic drive. I was told by computer experts to get a data recovery process done on the computer. I can't afford this process. Is there a cheap way to do this?
After I retake my hard drive info I was going to use a recovery cd to erase the hard drive then reload Windows. I definitely don't want to erase my info. until I get it out of there.

Answer: You can try this.

Buy one of those cases that let's you mount a broke drive in it and use it as an external drive. (cost about $50 at Circuit City or at most computer stores)

Take the devastating drive out of your laptop and mount it in the case. That gives you a USB connection to your drive. Now go to a compatriot who has a computer. When you plug in your hard drive it will come up as an external hard drive on his computer. Expectantly you will then be able to access
