After System Recovery Restoring Backed-up Data?

Windows XP - I had to run my System Recovery Disc, after having principal problems with my laptop. All is ok now but I need to restore my orginal documents folders. The system as saved these on my C-ambitiousness in a folder called My Backup.... But I dont know how to reinstall these folders & programmes...
Please can anyone let me recognize how I go about this....??


Answer: The folders and files can really be copied into the appropriate places. Programs need to be re-installed properly as they also want many library files to be correctly located, and also hundreds of registry entries set.
 
 

Can A Still Get My Files After A System Recovery In Windows XP?

I'm mixed up about the whole recovery disk thing. i did the recovery without the disk but it said before that i wouldn't lose any data files. what was the recovery disk supposed to be?
and after i did the recovery, the computer now says that the ntldr is compressed and i have to stress a newspapers control alt delete but it keeps on coming back. HELP!!!!


Answer: There is a way around it. I had this predicament a long time ago. It sucks big time. I was sh*tting bricks to be honest.

This plot helped me to work around it and ll you need is a floppy, a USB Flashh drive OR (the or is the best part :D) a CD-ROM with the program burned on to it. I Euphemistic pre-owned a USB drive because it was the most effective.

Any Chance To Recover Date After Recovery Disc Started Formatting Hard Drive But Stopped?

Got back from a visit, loaded pictures and hit the start slide show button, nothing happened, can't stop, can't do anything. Can data be recovered after a computer is reset to a plant setting?
