Compact Flash Crash And Recovery Question?

Yesterday I was getting bright to transfer my photos from the CF card and when I put the card into the reader and it loaded up on the pc (win xp) I clicked to prospect a photo before I started the transfer to check quality right quick and when I did it brought up the photo and then froze up and wouldn't let me go foster or backward to the previous or next photo. The card reader wasn't active so I pulled the playing-card and restarted the pc thinking it must be a windows issue and after the pc rebooted

Answer: Do a search for "file recovery" as there are several unfasten ones available.

Recovery Disk........?

I Non-Standard now don't have a recovery disk for my computer. Its a few years old (Dell) and doesn't therefore cut CDs...can I create a 'recovery file' rather than a disk and save that on something (eg compact flash) and then cut a disk on another computer? Also, if the HD dies and, (after getting it framed or a new computer) I use the recovery disk will everything be restored or just programmes/system set up? Thanks

Answer: You should get a new (C:) move, which can burn to DVD-R and perhaps DVD-RW, the price for them isn't that bad nowdays.
You could use a memory stick to make a recovery disk, but it all depends if your system files can indeed fit on it. Other than when the time comes to restore your PC it doesn't work.

Compact Flash Won't Let Me Retrieve Pictures. HELP?

I cannon-ball all Sat and all Sun then I get ready to copy the files from my CF card to the computer and the computer gets stuck, then I use my husband's computer it only gets the Easter Pictures not any of my homework for photo order. I downloaded 2 different recovery software and they were even less successful. Now the camera doesn't even recognize the slated. It keeps saying Error 2. What happen and how did I get my pictures.

When you put the card in the condolence card reader

Answer: Your anniversary card has become corrupted. You've tried card recovery software, and it hasn't worked.

Your best bet: reshoot your designation and with a new/different card.

However, if U want to try to get these images back....U can try different card recovery software (some occupation better than others). Sometimes a quick format of the card will actually allow U to health images with recovery software better (at your own risk, of course), forcing the software

Why Is My Computer So Slow?

About 3 weeks ago my computer due froze and began getting really slow and has been slow ever since. What makes it so crawling?

My internet is 33ping (speedtest.com)

I cleaned out all my registry files with Advance SystemCare and CCleaner and it made it twice as unresponsive

I scanned the whole computer with Avast(free version) and AVG

Here are the programs i currently have on my computer:

McAfee SiteAdvisor
Windows
